Heather Masse
Heather Masse joined the firm of SGH in November 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Heather worked as an Assistant Public Defender in the Fourth Judicial Circuit representing clients charged with a range of crimes from misdemeanors to life felonies.
Heather handled hundreds of cases and successfully tried many jury trials. Heather obtained a Not Guilty verdict during her first, first chair trial and continued her zealous representation for years to come. Heather thoroughly enjoyed her time as a public defender, getting the chance to help the people of the Jacksonville area during the most difficult times of their lives. This led Heather to want to expand her practice area and begin helping families facing their most difficult times as well.
Heather obtained her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2020. During law school Heather served as the Vice President of External Teams for the school’s Moot Court team. During her tenure, the school obtained the number 1 rank in the nation. Heather also competed in many competitions and obtained two best brief awards and semifinal and second place awards.
Heather’s addition to the SGH team allows the firm to expand and bring on a criminal law practice. Her dedication and passion for the law and helping her clients is unmatched and will ensure nothing short of the best advocacy for her clients.
