About Josh Kelne

Joshua Ethan Kelne began his career as a navigator in the United States Navy. He was assigned additional duties as legal officer aboard a guided missile cruiser and found his passion for law. He attended the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Fraternity. 

Before graduation, Joshua was recalled to active duty at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, Florida. Following graduation, Joshua transferred to the Navy’s Judge Advocate Generals Corps and served as Deputy Staff Attorney for Navy Region Southeast and as the Command Attorney for Naval Station Mayport. While serving as a Navy Lawyer, he advised the Commanding Officer and the Fleet and Family Support Center on family issues facing sailors and marines and their families.

Following his active duty service, Joshua remained in the Jacksonville area focusing on family law. He has zealously represented clients throughout Florida in family law matters including divorces, child support enforcement, domestic violence cases, step-parent adoptions and annulments.

Joshua joined Sasso & Guerrero in May of 2024. He is a member of the Florida Family Law Inns of Court and the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar.
